Power Yoga

Health and Wellness Junkie Yoga offers a variety of different classes. Not all classes will be available on the schedule at all times. If you are interested in a class that you do not see on the schedule, email us at yoga@healthandwellnessjunkie.com to find out when the class will be offered again.

We are excited to be partnering with our friends at Kif Jewelry, who have offered to share their space with us to use as a studio. This bright and open loft space is conveniently located in the Glenbrook Industrial Park, at 652 Glenbrook Road, in Stamford, Connecticut. Find more information about the studio and directions here. Please pre-register for all classes as the studio only fits 10 people. Walk ins are welcome, but only if there are spots that weren’t reserved.

What We Offer:

Power Vinyasa Flow 75 ( View Schedule )

The Power Vinyasa Flow class is based on the “Journey Into Power” sequence that is the cornerstone of the Baptiste Power Yoga asana practice. This intense 75 minute class will leave you invigorated with a new sense of power and purpose. You’ll be challenged to confront your limits both mentally and physically. By confronting and exploring these boundaries, you’ll open up your practice and your life to new possibilities.

The Power Vinyasa Flow is intense, but is appropriate for all level of yoga ability. Modifications are available throughout the class that allow you to tune the practice to your level and need for the day. However, base knowledge of common yoga poses is helpful as it will help you focus on your practice rather than looking around the room trying to figure out what to do next. If you are new to yoga, check out our Basics for Beginners class, it will teach you everything you need to know to prepare yourself for the Power Vinyasa Flow 90 class.

Power Hour ( View Schedule )

The Power Hour class in a condensed version of the Power Vinyasa Flow 90. But don’t be fooled, this class will still make you work. But, as always, your work will be rewarded with that sweat shivasina, and a lightness for the rest of your day.
